contact photos from Exchange server?

I sync my Imagio to an Exchange 2007 server via over-the-air wireless sync. Some of my contacts have photos associated with them, which I can see on the desktop client, but these don't seem to make it over to the phone. Does Activesync ignore photos that come with contacts?

Mike

I use Microsoft Exchange and have contact photos with no problems.

what I did discover is that if I assign photos *on the phone*, they do seem to get sync'd up to the server. But I can find no way of assigning photos on the desktop, for example through Outlook Web Access.

Outlook Web Access is not desktop.
You can assign photos to contacts when using Outlook on the "desktop" of your computer.
I don't use web access very much but I don't think you can assign photos via Outlook web access.

Hmmm..I can't recall if you assign photos from OWA. From within Outlook you just click on the photo icon and it gives you an option to assign or remove photo.

I'm on vacation right now so I'm not about to logon to OWA to see if photos can be assigned to contacts.

Re: contact photos from Exchange server?

I see. I use Entourage on a Mac, so if it's not OWA, then I have non real Outlook. I guess I'll just do it through the phone; cumbersome but it works. thanks!
