Limit the No. of Album Options Under the Photo Tab

I'm looking for a way to limit the number of file locations that show up as album choices under the photo tab. When I nav to the Photo Tab and select 'albums' (then either 'storage card' or 'my device'), it looks like I get any directory with a .jpg or .png showing up as an album option.

How do I limit or select where the phone looks for "albums?" THX!

Go to:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\HTCAlbum\Ignored

you will need to ad a string value with the name of what you want to ignore, say Music, then the string value will be the path of that folder, \storage card\music

There should be at least one entry in there already for camera templates that one should give you and idea how to do it.

Just fyi the more organized your storage card is the easier this is to do.

Like I have all folders to start with

Manual
PPC Install
Desktop Install
DCIM
SPBMS3 Stuff

I have kinda the same problem, exept when I navigate to my storage card, I want it to show albums and sub folders so I you have certen kinda of pictures in one folder with many sub folders you should be able to just select the folder and then look at the sub folders not all the folders with pictures...???
