Is their a way to make the Taskbar and the Softkey areas transparent without using HDwall? Maybe a .cab?

Re: Transparent Taskbar and Softkey?

Here is what I used. I am looking for a simpler cab install. But the option for this program is under 6.5 in this program

Thanks a lot. I got it to work. I agree with you though that we need a cab that just provides the transparency.

By the way, do you know how to make all backgrounds including the Start and All Applications screen transparent with Max TF3D?

Re: Transparent Taskbar and Softkey?

Search this forum for a number of threads on HDWall and it's use. It will do backgrounds for all tabs at higher res than normal and skin the softkeys/taskbar areas if you use the WM6.5 Skinning option.

Re: Transparent Taskbar and Softkey?

KeithDupont has a cab that will give you a halo-style blue silder and a clear curtain for the bottom part of the screen.

I dont know if there are cabs that will let you get a clear bottom for the Phone/Lock area of the screen or a clear task bar.
