Left over Remove Programs list entry?

I have an entry in my remove programs list that wont go away. The file that was being installed by this is no longer on the device but the name still shows up in the list. It asks me if I want to remove it and I say yes, but it apparently doesn't hear to well. I searched around and found other post saying remove entries from registry, try TMS uninstaller, mem Maid, search at XDA for something called Crud Scrapper (Couldn't find it). Does anybody know where this list is stored on the device? A registry search for the name found nothing using PHM. It's not affecting me other than the aggrivation of wanting it gone.
