Verizon Navigator CAB

Could someone with the Imagio post the Verizon Navigator cab for your device?

I'm trying to use Navigator on my TP with a custom 6.5 ROM, but I can't get it to open. I have a feeling there may be something in 6.5 that's different tnough from 6.1 that the Nav cab I have won't run/install properly.

Re: Verizon Navigator CAB

The imagio's version of vz navigator is not compatible on the touch pro. Not to mention that vz navigator is the most horrible navigation software out there. Use IGO8, garmin xt, or telenav.

Re: Verizon Navigator CAB

Actually, there are 2 versions of vz navigator for the Imagio. One for cdma systems and one for global use. You break the privacy policy link when you try to run either version on top of a custom ROM. I'm reasonably sure there is a workaround for this issue floating around out there somewhere, but why bother, vz navigator is a gps app that never reached full maturity. Google maps is much better and it's free. Good luck, but, if I were you, I would work on a fool proof way of installing screen protectors...

Thanks is good, if you feel so inclined..

Re: Verizon Navigator CAB

I've never had a problem running Navigator on custom ROMs before, so I don't think the signing is an issue.

Would appreciate it if someone would post the cab for the CDMA version for Imagio anyway.

Re: Verizon Navigator CAB

I don't see why it shouldn't. I never had any issues before with running vznav on a custom rom.

Many thanks, I'm going to give it a try now. I'm hoping that this version will have whatever code Navigator needs to run on 6.5 in it.

I really appreciate your taking the time to do this. Will report back!

Re: Verizon Navigator CAB

it will probably install but you need to have VZ Nav activated on your account for it to work, and it works just fine. Drove from AL to IL this christmas season with it to and from with no problems.

I do have Navigator on my account -- I've been using it and paying for it for a year. I like the turn-by-turn directions a lot, so I think it's really worthwhile.

Unfortunately, the cab above appears to be the same as the last one I downloaded before I loaded the 6.5 rom on my Touch Pro, so it had the same result. It loads, but when you try to open it, it says the certificate isn't signed.
