Title bar settings

When I got the phone, I used to be able to click on the top title bar (one with the signal and battery gauge) and get the comm manager and a full screen options. Now for some reason when I click on it I only get a pop-up like with older versions of Win PPC. Anyone have any idea on how to get the original settings back? I have tried everything I can think of.

Thanks

Re: Title bar settings

The only thing that I can think of is checking this registry entry that is talked about in this post http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...=100760&page=2

Re: Title bar settings

If you installed a custom taskbar that isn't compatible with the new Notification manager then it will do this.

Re: Title bar settings

This happened prior to installing anything, I only had the phone 2 days when I was playing with the settings and somehow disabled the HTC notification menu. I dont have a registry program to have changed that so it is something in the phone settings.

Re: Title bar settings

Im not completly sure what you are talking about, but if you click on the battery icon or one of the icons at the top of the title bar, it will pop up and you can click on the signal icon, and communications manager will come up with the full window...

Re: Title bar settings

it is the communications manager that is not showing up when I click the top bar (battery icon, signal bars etc) This used to pop up when I got the phone but now doesn't. the only thing that pops up now is the windows connectivity box. I dont know how to take a screen shot of the screen to show what i am seeing.

Re: Title bar settings

Here are the screenshots to show you what I am talking about. I looked at the registry as described in the forum mentioned above and that is set to the default. Any help is appreciated as I really do not want to have to do a hard reset and hope that works.

WM Notifications (What I get and dont want)

HTC Notifications (What I want back)

Re: Title bar settings

This happened to me too after installing a few of the .cabs that I found on this forum. I don't know which one did this and I don't know how to get the orig. back either. Anyone know of a fix?

Re: Title bar settings

By the way, the last thing I did was a registry change to get rid of the TV icon. Maybe this did it?
