Really? Do you mean the installer is in Spanish, or the ROM is in Spanish?

Anyway, what's the worst that could happen? It wouldn't be able to write anything to the phone unless it was signed by Verizon, right?

UTSTARCOM doesn't handle VZW phones anymore so why would they have a new shipped rom for the Imagio ? ? Seems fishy to me

Movilnet is listed in the filename and they are a Venezuelan communications company. Maybe they are shipping the Imagio soon there and this is their pre-release build or something.

I can't flash it now since I'm at work, however, I did try it and it does recognize the phone as flashable. I'm willing to try this, as you can most likely set the language to English, but what's the chances of this bricking my phone beyond repair? I don't have insurance so I'm a little bit worried...

The VZW shipped Rom (conflipper) is about 166 MBs and the spanish shipped Rom is only about 141 Mbs - must not have the carrier bloatware.

Well I just tried it, it recognized the phone, put it in loader mode and at 1% it errored out... cant read spanish, so I have no idea what i says... heres the image;

Provider not valid? I assume it's looking for some carrier ID for Movilnet and since our phones are VZW it fails the check.
