Re: SPB Mobile shell 3.5

See this link about the dialer contacts button. I'm not the only one that had problems with it.

The attached files are how mine reacts. Screen Shot 3 is after hitting the GREEN call button from the home screen. I whited out the numbers so that ya'all don't start crank calling my pals!

Screen shot 4 is after getting to the previous screen (Screen shot 3) hitting the lower left "CONTACTS" button that you saw. Again, whited out numbers to prevent 3am heavy breathing calls to my 96 year old grand mother and the like.....

I read your reply, I appreciate your question, I followed your link and read the response.... and I have to say.. I bet that SPB is looking at the numbers of phones that have that problem. I see one page with like 4 guys talking about it right there, baybe that is the total of 4 with problems, or maybe it is the tip of the 400,000 thousand person iceburg? I don't know.

I do know that so far mine is functioning. Maybe it is a very isolated problem? Kind of like the Beretta Tomcat 3032 pistol with the cracking frame around the trigger pin.... 1% of owners experiance this, Beretta will not consider a free trade in, nor will they consider a redesign of the pistol. I asked why, and they say that at a 1% pissed off customer base... they are doing just fine. Companies look at things in cost vs gains. Maybe the cost to chase this bug is north the gains?

Re: SPB Mobile shell 3.5

Thanks again Larry ! Will install the shake stuff and take a quick snapshot..

My dialer works fine.. going to contacts.. but.. I doubt I would use it.. I think the other way around for some reason.. plus if I'm at the dialer and I want to call someone in my contacts.. I just start spelling their name with the dialer keys and viola name pops up hit send..

YMMV

Re: SPB Mobile shell 3.5

the only problem that I'm having so far is when I put a music widget on the screen it doesn't give me the option to chose my card to select my music, only the device. What am I missing?

Re: SPB Mobile shell 3.5

3.5.2 should have the contacts issue in the dialer fixed. the 3.5.1 did not.

Re: SPB Mobile shell 3.5

When did v3.5.2 come out? I don't have a copy of the original version I downloaded anymore. I did buy 3.0 for my old phone, and can use the same license for my new one, but didn't like the contacts not working. All your advice is appreciated, but I'd rather have the contacts work than find a workaround.
