Re: SPB Mobile shell 3.5

Lol...
Happens to all of us! I really like the mobile shell too. A LOT. It is SO worth the money over TF-3D

Re: SPB Mobile shell 3.5

Oh-Oh. I lied, I have one more problem.

With the old GUI, you had your seperate email accounts shown on the TF3D and you could quickly select one of the mutiple email accounts and you would then flip through seeing if there was anything that actually needed attention. It was very fast with multiple accounts. Now.... with SPB Mobile Shell, you have only one "Dumb" email button. It goes into the account and does not let you quickly change from account to account giving you a 5 second glance of what is going on. Now you have to drop down the folder tree and select the inbox of the next account. Look at it and then select again to drop down the folder tree. This is kind of slow and ugly compared to the HTC method.

Again, I will ask.... and I have looked... but is there a email preview tool that I am not seeing? I have no choice but to ASSume that I am flat out missing something that should be blatently obvious.... so throw me a bone!

Re: SPB Mobile shell 3.5

So far I'm digging it. It has a software re-boot button that I placed on my window full of tool type things. I dedicated another pane to games and DivX, I tweaked my home screen into a royal mess for now...LOL... but overall, it really makes my Imagio into all that it could be! For the current 50% price, dude... it's a no brainer! They have a 30 day "no questions asked" refund policy on the site, so try it out for the $14.97 while you can!

I don't know why a few folks are seeing issues and others are not, but so far mine is not and I am lovin it!

SWEET!

Re: SPB Mobile shell 3.5

Larry,

I am right there with you !!!! Glad you found the preview.. I actually setup mine to have each account separately on the home screen so it shows number of unread emails on each icon. Then I can go directly to that account.

You can also go to poutlook and then once in email just swipe right or left to flip between accounts and SMS etc..

Mine is using the same memory as the default shell and certainly less than TF3D. dunno...

Definitely worth the $14.95 ! Awesome.. LOVE IT ! I really dig when you select a contact it gives you all the options for contacting them.. i.e. SMS, Phone, Email etc... with one touch.. Good stuff !

I did also have to apply KeithDutton's task bar mod... it looks GREAT !

If I knew how to capture the home screen I'd be glad to post it...

Yes, I hit the green hardware button to activate the phone dialer and then the lower left soft-key on the touch screen is "Contacts". I hit that, and I go instantly too a version of the phone book that I never remember seeing. It might be the native Windows one or it might be the SPB one, I'm not sure. I think for sure it is the SBP one, I hit the menu button while insode the contacts phone book and the menue that appeared is the typical SPB one.

Hey, have any of you noticed that if you open the calculator and turn the phone sideways...... YOU GET A SCIENTIFIC! Degrees and Radians.... SIN, COS, TAN... the basic scientific requirements for trig! Sweet! Freee bonus!

The built in calculator does that. In fact that may be what you're viewing. I don't think SPB MS comes with a calculator, but I could be wrong.
