New Version with 6.5 wait animation

This is tsowens 2.5 taskbar with one file edited by me to get the 3G icon displaying. It still reverts back to the old wait cursor from wm6.1, I haven't figured that one out yet.

The files are number in the zip, just install in that order.

Remove any other taskbar icon cabs before installing this one

Thanks keithdupont. I have his current taskbar and was wondering if there was just a single file that can be replaced to get the 3G icon rather than uninstalling and reinstalling all of them.

If you unzip the zip there is a folder with the number 3 and copy to windows folder, just do that part only if you have it installed already.

When I try to unzip to the Windows directory and choose to overwrite tapres.192.dll I get an "Error writing to target file! \Windows\tapres.192.dll"

Any ideas?

The wait cursor is in the shellres.dll or shellres.96.dll. This taskbar was probably built with the 6.1 wait cursor shellres file. If you open that dll you can replace it with the 6.5 version.

I must be doing something wrong. I still have the "EV" icon. I did paste to Windows folder, is there a particular folder to place it?

Correction, I needed to paste the whole folder. Make sure you do it.

this is great, I just took the dll file only and placed it in the windows folder to replace the other one. Now my whole taskbar is in color and says 3G when available. Thanks.

Can you put the cab file on here i have know idea what the Zips and the dlls are. or even where a window file is. sorry i'm the new guy. Thanks

Issue solved. Apparently unzipping to overwrite a file doesn't work. I just unzipped it all to a new dir then moved the .dll file.

So, how did you copy it? I've got the same issue as toadman. I tried through an explorer window on my desktop and with Total Commander on my PPC. Neither let me copy it.

I also copied the .dll file to a folder on my storage card and then used Total Commander to copy it to the windows folder, but that didn't work either.
