use a reg edit go to Hkcu/software/htc/manila/internet search url youll see a web adresss www.bing.com/search?q= just change the word bing to google if you want google to be your search engine or yahoo if you want that ect ect
now if you want internet explorer to be your default browser open up explorer click on tools then options then other check the box that says tell me if explorer isnt my default browser close out explorer reopen it it will say do you want explorer to be your default browser say yes and your done

Explanations on some of the cabs that arent easily distinguished by the name:
Customize Tabs Colored Icons.cab changes the icons to color on the Customize Tabs Settings screen
SndTabs.cab changes the icons to color on the Sound Settings screen
FixUnreadCount will fix your Imagio when it shows an extra email notification when there are no new emails
Clear Weather Background zip makes the panels behind the forecasts in Manila clear or transparent.

I installed the call record app, didnt do anything for me, has it worked for anybody else?

It will be enabled by default after install+reset. If you want to disable it, go to settings->all settings->System->GfxBoost

and you can really notice the difference? I'm a little afraid to install but if you say you noticed it worked good I would want to give it a try. Which one did you use? 1.2 service???

I think I mentioned it earlier (maybe some other thread) but I have a number of "performance enhancing" cabs installed. It's quite difficult to notice small improvements here and there, and I only kept this thing "stock" for about a day. Therefore I don't have much of a baseline in mind. I will say that neither this, nor any of the cabs I've added have hurt performance, and the performance now is better than it was before. I don't think you can do any damage by using this program; IMHO the worst that could happen is it's a neutral addition. In any case, I used v. 1.2 which should be what is linked. Let us know how it turns out!
