Define wipe...
Sorry really noobish I know, Going to flash another ROM on the wife's hero, everyone says wipe before flash, what exactly am I suppose to wipe? (of the 5? choices)

Ugh my head is still spinning with andriod stuff.....

wipe data/factory reset, wipe dalvik cache and if you run apps2sd then wipe the ext partition

Wouldn't flashing the phone effectively wipe the phone? What's the risk if you don't wipe before flashing?

Android is different than WinMob. If you don't wipe there will be problems.
