Quick Hero Question

So I go through a service provider who is based in Wisconsin and covers pretty much just that. That means less phones to choose from and a higher resale value on used phones. Sucks to be on the wrong end of that deal. I've been checking out the Hero a lot lately. My next upgrade isn't for 5 months so that's out. People are asking for $300+ for a used cellcom Hero. Now I found this really great deal on two Alltel Heroes (don't have full details yet) and I'm just wondering if by some crazy chance they have the old Android on them can I just use Cellcom's posted update to flash them? Even an "I'm not positive" or a straight "no" is appreciated. Thank you.

Re: Quick Hero Question

Moved to General Hero Discussion. Upgrade forums are only for the release of a ROM/Radio or Kitchen.

As far as the question I am not sure. I would check XDA, a few threads about CellCom Hero's there.
