Few processes hogging processor (Help please)

I used Fresh's FAQ (http://geekfor.me/news/why-is-my-and.../#comment-5582) to pull up what processes were taxing my processor since flashing to Fresh 2.3.3. Here are my results and I'm asking for a little help with why/what these things are.

PID CPU% S #THR VSS RSS PCY UID Name
321 50% S 32 155492K 23692K bg app_11 android.process.acore
250 19% S 68 243080K 29940K fg system system_server
4389 12% S 12 135200K 16472K bg app_11 com.android.htccontacts
5241 7% R 1 900K 376K fg root top
706 2% S 17 140160K 21896K bg app_80 com.newsrob

top should be the highest in CPU% but as you can see android.process.acore, system_server, and com.android.htccontacts are really taxing my processor; expecially .acore.

Anybody have any idea why this is happening? Thanks.

Re: Few processes hogging processor (Help please)

Acore is what keeps the phone running. That's normal. Htc contacts periodically runs some background stuff. If you run the top command again, it probably won't be there. Top itself takes hella cpu while you're running it, so that's why that showed up. Everything looks normal to me. I'll post what mine says when I'm at my computer later.
