Can't connect Hero to TP2's HTC Wifi Router
My hero isn't activated but I'm trying to connect it to my touch pro 2 using htc wifi router but the hero doesnt pick it up. I got the hero to connect to my houses wifi which worked fine and i could get my iPod Touch to connect to my tp2 with htc wifi router so I know they both worked. Anybody knows why it does this or had a similar problem and know of a fix.

The Hero can't connect ad-hoc networks, which is what the htc wifi tether app for windows mobile broadcasts.

my hero connects to my palm pre's wifi hotspot
 but bradart is right. funny thing is though I can't connect my pre to my hero's wifi hotspot.
