Flashing radio on HTC hero

Has anybody been able to successfully flash a radio ROM on a rooted Hero running official Sprint 2.1 ROM? I tried following directions outlined on http://geekfor.me/faq/flash-radio/ but the phone appears to restart right away without writing anything, there's no "30 second wait."

If you are running the official Sprint Rom then you arent rooted. Are you able to boot into recovery?? (Hold Home hard key + power key, til the black screen with green letters appears)

Re: Flashing radio on HTC hero

If you are rooted can you have your phone check for PRL updates? What does updating your profile do?

Flashing a radio is easy. I followed the instructions at XDA and it went like a flash. Just as easy as installing a rom... when there are no corrupted files...
