Help! Preparing sd card? Checking for errors msg??
can someone plz help? i was trying to do something with my phone like download an app or ringtone and now i get a msg that says ERROR SAVING FILE TO SD CARD.. SD CARD MAY NOT BE ACCESABLE RIGHT NOW.. and in my drop dwn notifacations screen it says PREPARING SD CARD.. CHECKING FOR ERRORS.. and thats it.. ive tried to do everything with it.. anybody know whats goin on here? thx -angela

Remove sdcard, re-insert, reboot, and call me in the morning.

For me this meant that I needed to back up sd card, go to settings and unmount the sd card, format, reload the sd card and go from there.

When this happened to me I removed the card from my phone and tried it in my friend's pone to see if it could be read. The card mounted fine and I was able to put it back in my hero and use it.
