Re: bricked HTC HERO

ok so this is how I bricked my phone. 1st I rooted my phone. 2nd I put damage control ROM on it. After a while I wanted to put the stock RUU on it and put it back to stock. I need room on my sd card to transfer the RUU file from my lap to my desktop. So I deleted damage control file on the sd card. I then hooked up the phone to my desktop, installed the stock RUU. in the end of the process it said the RUU was missing files. After this all it does is go to the HTC logo in the middle of the screen when i plug in the usb cable fromt he computer. When I disconect the usb cable it goes to a boot type screen but all it says is.....HERO OX
HBOOT-1.41.0000 (HERO20000)
TOUCH PANEL-SYN0104
RADIO-1.04.01.09.21
Sep 1 2009,19:18:45
RUU

Im pretty sure this phone is done. Please help if you know anything I can do. Thanks

Re: bricked HTC HERO

I don't think you removing the ROM file off of your zip card has anything to do with it. Can you put the phone into recovery mode (volume down/power button)?
