New HD² fastest/sleekest rom?
 

Hello i'm anxiously waiting for my new HD2 to come on Thursday. I have never had t-mobile before..THe last htc device I had was the HTC Touch (old one). So I am familiar with flashing etc..but just wanted some input on what is the best/sleek/fastest rom for this phone? and anything you guys suggest I should get for the phone...????

Try Ditty's latest and then put cookies Home tab on it...

personally I am really into Energy ROM, for my money it's the best out there.

Also be sure and put Android on it :)

Things to keep in mind when flashing a Windows Mobile 6.5 (or 6.5.x) rom...

6.5 and 6.5.x are essentially dead operating systems. Which in my opinion is neither a good thing or a bad thing, it simply means that there is no new FRESH FROM THE MANUFACTURER updates and features from here on in. Any and all innovation comes from developers at XDA-Developers.com

That being said, MOST if not all roms at this point are going to have almost the same amount of built in features.

The main thing you want to look for is a balance between how feature packed the rom is, with how stable it is (stable meaning it does not freeze, applications rarely crash if ever, and is very good on battery life on average daily use)

With ALL of these things in mind there is NO BETTER rom than Kumars HD2 rom.

The only thing I'd do is put the newest version of Cookies Home Tab and Cookies Home Tab Editor on the rom once you flash it.

man there are so many Android ROMs out there.

Check out the stickied Android thread in the Android on HD2 forum for some really good ones.

I flashed Dutty's rom, now V6. I think it's faster and more stable than others, even I use my HD2 most in Chinese language(Dutty's ML V6 Asia WWE).
