I need Voice Command for my flashed HD 2, Pls help!
 

I have searched long & wide all over the net for this feature that was NOT included in most of the HD2 flashed roms. I used Voice Command for the "Announce Incoming Call" feature in conjunction with my BT.

For those of you who use BT & did not use the "Announce Incoming Call" feature, it is one of the most convenient WM features. As it said in the name, it announced the name that is saved in the corresponding contact. If there is no name saved, it announces the incoming number.

If anybody has this pls reply.

what did you search for? I just googled microsoft voice command and this was the first result. Post 2 has the cab you need.http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=69126

I run these on my 6.5.X ROMs:

Run the cab then the patch. I have a TP2; YMMV

thanks for the reply. here has been my other problem, when installed I can't find it anywhere.

I'm using the April 1 Energy Rom for T-Mobile HD2

Can I install the version I have, or does that patcher work specifically with the version you posted?

In the end it doesn't really matter. Just not wanting to download more then I need to.

Warning, don't do what I did. Tried to patch TMobile stock VC with the patcher and it worked, but removed my icon under \settings\personal. I've tried both the fixes in the original thread and I can't get it back.

I planned on hard resetting soon, which is why I tried it, so no big deal. I've been really beating up the HD2 to see what software will/won't work in order to get my SASHIMI configuration where it needs to be. =)

Unless somone has a working Control Panel fix to see VC applet in Personal again, hard reset, here I come!
