Hi all.

When I hit X to close a program, Task Manager shows it's still running. I know you can change button settings for task manager on MOST devices, but on my HD2 the option just isn't there to change the X button so it closes programs fully. Does anyone know how to achieve this on an HD2 (Leo)?

Thanks

Re: Closing programs fully with "X"

Hi,
I will give you a hint from "xda-developers forum"
"Touch X tap n hold to close app.cab" -enable the function hold on X in application to close it, quick tap on X in application will minimize it.
I use this "App" it's fine

look to forum.xda-developers.com

Re: Closing programs fully with "X"

Just curious, Can you not go to system settings/task manager/button/ to change those setting on the HD??

Not that I can see, Hypnotic2010. I go to Start, Settings, then Menu and choose All Settings, System, then Task Manager. If I go to Menu from there, I've got choices of Switch To, End All Tasks, View, Sort By, Refresh, and Exit. Nothing else.

The impression I'm getting is that this option is included in WM6.5, but isn't in the Sense interface from HTC.

Here is an option to get your task manager the way you want it (.cab attatched)

7. Get the old Task Manager Back
To be able to really close programs using the X instead of just ‘minimizing’ the program and leaving it in memory,
install Duttys HTC Task Manager (attached below), restart and the X is back. Also in Settings you can configure its function.
