Who still has the plastic protection on the keyboard slider?
 

Among all the plastic tape that was on the device, there are two strips on each side the keyboard, protecting the sliding mechanism. I haven't removed mine, and plan to keep it there, until it starts coming off. Who still has theirs?

I took my wife's off the minute I got it in my big ass ape hands.
Not a scratch. Still...
Got the phone when it came out at Radio Shack a week or two before the Sprint stores got it.

i had mine on until my snap on hard case strated tearing them off! but still no scratches
