Rooting issues
I got an HTC shift a couple of days ago, and am trying to root it but have been unsuccessful. I am following the instructions here (More Detailed Perm Root Instructions - xda-developers) but when I access the phone with adb, I get a "permission denied" error from any command I type. I have the SDK, HTC Sync, and have the phone set to use USB debugging. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Re: Rooting issues
I'm right there with you man. I've tried it on different computers with XP, Windows 7 and Windows 7 64-bit but nothing has ever worked. So I decided to wait until there's a 1-click solution. But apparently no one seems to be working on that.
So, I'm stuck |
