Transfer contacts

What is the best way to do so without errors?

I currently use microsoft myphone obviously that will not work
and I made a new gmail account that has none of the info

and any idea of a similar text message backup service?

I used a program called "PC Suite" to transfer most of info from my old TP2 to my EVO Shift. Did everything except text messages. Also, a good program to use to backup everything regularly. Worked great.

Set up exchange server on old windows phone with your google acct.

Or you can use Outlook on PC, export fils to .cvs file and import that file into your google acct.

thanks thats what i did used outlook for contacts and synced it

anything for text messages online backup?

Just google it. Follow the 3 step process and you'll get your text msgs too
