Custom/Non-Universal Car Mount?
 

Anybody find a "made-for-evo-shift" car mount of any kind?

I bought a great custom windshield mount for my pro2 (and actually I can force my evo shift into it and it stays - not ideal) and I want something similar for the evo shift. It's been out for a month, I'm surprised china hasn't come out with something yet but maybe I'm just not looking hard enough. At this point I'd even be willing to fork out the money for a fully-featured one that comes with a charger and all-that-jazz because I absolutely hate the way those universal ones look.

You know? This homemade thing looks silly at first sight, but it's really not so bad. I'm looking for a mount that works on the AC vents and can be easily mounted and unmounted (I don't always want the phone there and I don't want the vents covered all the time). So, this thing is easy to remove and seems more dureable than most of the cheap chinese mounts...

I think I will give it a try... Maybe you can cover it with some rubber hose so it looks more uniform and get some springs to make it look better. 8-[
