Is it possible to overclock EVO Shift ???

Is it possible to overclock the EVO Shift? Has anyone done it successfully? I thought the processor was basically the same as the G2. Just want to know if it's possible, and if anyones already trying this? Yes, I know the phone just came out. Got mine on thurs. So, far it's by far the best phone I've owned.

why would you want to? You lose a lot of battery life for minimal gain. That;s probably why HTC underclocked it to 800 to begin with, any faster and there's very little increase in responsivness for the battery life you lose

Just want to know if it's possible. Plus at some point, I'd like to see how far the device can be pushed.

well first it needs to be rooted.
then someone needs to cook up a custom kernel.
then you will be able to overclock.
