evo 4g locked
I went to unroot my evo 4g and now its stuck on a black screen with htc in middle and triangles in all four corners if i unplug it goes to white screen with
revoluntionary supersonic evt3 ship s off hboot 6.16.1102 micorp 041f touch panel atmelc03_16ac radio 2.15.00.07.28 mar 8 2011, 17:02:15 is there a way to fix this problem

Sounds like you tried to flash to an older ROM that's not compatible with the new hboot. Your going to have to find a 4.54 ROM to flash to in a PCIMG36 format and stick that on your card, that's my not so professional opinion. Also you might want to post exactly what you have done and what you were trying to flash to so that we can try to help as the information you gave is pretty generic.

it was rooted but the rom that i had had glitches where it would turn itself off and i would have to take battery out to reboot so i went and tried to go back factory. i went and bought a sd reader that i can plug in to my laptop now just trying to figure out what needs to be on sd card for phone to work again. i have tried different roms but cant get into boot menu on phone to load them. im lost.

i was trying to find a pic of the arrows cause i've never seen it, and came across this. pay attention to the last post... what drivers are you using? when i rooted, i used the htc sync drivers from whatever version was recommended at the time. i remember that there was an update that didn't work, but this was a long time ago. you can still fix your phone its not bricked or anything, just have to find a way to do it is all.

You're stuck in the middle of a bad RUU flash. You need to complete an RUU flash before you can do anything else. does screen look like this?
