Viber - Anyone get it to work on their EVO?

Installed viber voip app on my EVO but can not get it to run. I get an application crash and a message asking me to force close. I've tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling but it just doesn't want to work.

I'm still running the stock sprint ROM and have not rooted. All viber support was able to offer was what i have already done as well as a hard reset - which I have not done. They also recomended not using a rooted rom whihc I am not.

Any insight is much appreciated.
