Newbie Question - Can I put my upcoming calendar on my home screen

Hello,

I don't know squat about Android yet but I was wondering - can I put my upcoming calendar events on my home screen?

If so is it done by days or number of events?

How do I put it on my home screen?

Can't be done yet? I'd like to move on from WM but I really depend on that feature - prefer not to have to swipe or touch just to get to that - almost as important has having my clock on my home page or missed messages.

You can use a widget which is basically the same thing as WM. Look up widgets and see if they're good enough

yes you can put the calendar on the hometab, and you have different options on the types of ways you can display the calendar like you want. why would you want to do that though, just set up your calendar and sync it to your google account <which you'll need when you set-up the phone at the store> and all your appointments and stuff can be set up to have notifications and set to whatever time you want, so quit procrastinating and come on over to the dark side lol.

Agreed. Just add simple calendar(market) and set up a nice looking calendar widget just under the clock

Here's another fuction Addroid has. You can set a reminder for any event. The reminder can be an SMS to yourself. And email to yourself or like classic Windows, a pop up reminder
