Question about applications under the settings menu

Under the home screen, hit settings, then go to applications. Under all my downloaded programs, if I click on one of them, you see all the details like storage: Total, application, Data. Used to, when I would click on one of the programs and the detail screen came up, that info was immediately populated. Now, after a day or two of usage, when i go to a program it takes quiet awhile before these numbers are populated. IT will sit and say computing.....

Is this normal? Just thought I would ask.

PS. I'm going to search now, but, what app is it that I can see my total up time/sleep time etc...

Thanks

Re: Question about applications under the settings menu

I just checked mine and had no problem, clicking on several apps.

Question: how often do you restart your phone?

I restart each morning with Quickboot. Maybe that will help.

Re: Question about applications under the settings menu

I reboot mine (turn off/on) every day in order to ensure the Bluetooth headset transfer works properly. If not, calls come thru to the headset and noise is not heard in the headset or the device speaker and that means lost call due to the need to reset the Evo. What a pain. But it is fast.

Re: Question about applications under the settings menu

Menu, settings, about phone Battery will tell you total up time/sleep time etc.

If you have installed any new apps recently they may be responsible for the lag...you may have a bad app gone rogue. Double check by uninstalling your newest apps since the problem started and install them back one by one to find the "bad apple".
