Sms issue!

When I write in Spanish and I use special letters like ñ, é, á... the other person doesn't receive my messages, I tried with Sprint and Verizon phones and the don't receive the messages and when I do it with my Samsung moment I don't have a problem. I have try most all the roms and cm6 and nothing. Any idea how to fix this?

I used to use the stock app and I changed to handcent and doesn't work. Cm6 use the stock Android and doesn't work.

Try a different keyboard? Sywpe. ShapeWriter. Slide It

some of these third party keyboards have language packs...you might want to look thru the market and see what is out there...

I'm quite sure that SlideIT (the paid version) supports other language keyboards. I'm not so certain with swype or any others...
