Rooted but not Nand unlocked?

So, I rooted using Toasts method, and I've been using OMJ's 8/5/10 ROM. I wanted to upgrade to the newest one so I tried to install ROM Manager and I've been getting a message telling me "an error occur ed while flashing your recovery", so it seems I'm not Nand unlocked. Is there any easy way for me to tell if I'm Nand unlocked and if not, is there any easy way for me to get Nand unlocked?

Go to xda in the evo section and get simple root. It does everything you need.
