So many ROM's to pick from

When it was time to upgrade to version 2.2 I felt a bit overwhelmed with which ROM to go with due to all the choices that have been posted. Don't get me wrong I like having a good selection and I eventually went with the Ava-Froyo ROM which has worked out really well. I wanted to keep the Sprint apps and an updated OS with all the new bells and whistles. But did I make the right selection? I don't know. I guess the discussion is which ROM did you go with and why? This may help myself and others with ROM selections.

Re: So many ROM's to pick from

CM6 all the way!!

Because its built from source, it has no bloatware and well its just that much better

Of course it wont hold your hand when uploading pics to facebook or what not but there are apps for all that stuff..

Re: So many ROM's to pick from

I am also running OMJ and very satisfied. There is a large following and OMJ is active on the boards and updates regularly. The ROM removes the Sprint bloat-ware but is made available to selectively add those apps you want; for me Sprint TV and NFL.

With nand backup there is really no reason to try them all and decide which is best for you. And with the deodex'd option you can flash themes like crazy. All good stuff!
