Re: Was updating to 2.2 worth it?

No problems here...not rooted, just running stock 2.2....battery life is better and it is certainly faster...and finally can make calls from my bluetooth

Re: Was updating to 2.2 worth it?

I'm beginning to regret updating. Didnt have any problems on 2.1 now with 2.2 I lost my free wireless tethering, Launcher Pro is buggy, battery life is worse, Droid X KB doesnt work, stock KB has lag, web pages dont scroll as smooth. I still love my Evo but I was happier with 2.1

Re: Was updating to 2.2 worth it?

My problems were all around the video camcorder, I normaly take about 10 min of video a day. Last night I was at the fair with a 2.2 rom and I couldn't record video at all. Missed some important footage of my kids... no more 2.2 for me until it is stable.

Updated last night using OMJ latest and so far zero problems. Will have a better idea about battery in a few days.

2.2 sucks and I wish someone would tell me how to revert back to 2.1 without deleting all my files and data
