Re: how do you save your apps on the sdcard

I just went here and the "move to SD card" is greyed out. Anyone have any ideas how to enable it? I click on an application and my only choices are to uninstall it. I can see the "move to SD card" button but it's not available.

Help.

Re: how do you save your apps on the sdcard

Reread the original answer, what determines if an application "can" be moved to the SD card? Why should it make a difference where the application sits to run?

Re: how do you save your apps on the sdcard

I guess its how the developer of the app created it. Sometimes they wil update the app and add the option to move it to the sd card.

Re: how do you save your apps on the sdcard

There's an app in the market called SDMove -

SDMove finds apps on Froyo that can be moved to external storage (SD card) and provides an easy way to move them.

Pretty convenient and useful

Does your SD card have to be partitioned already? Or does it not matter any more?
