question this will remove root and put the phone back to stock condition with 2.1 on it correct?

also i just run this on my pc with the phone hooked up via tether right?
will i also lose my recovery?

yes you will lose root and your recovery. I suggest you do a nandroid backup of what you have now in case you want to revert to it later.

there really is nothing for me to back up .. all saved with google .. not to worried about the apps .. just wanted to have this just incase as it is no longer on HTC's site .. figured it would be easier to root this then the newer version 2.2 update.
