I use handcent.

Because of a few tweaks and app's I've installed since I got the evo on release date I'm thinking about reloaded the whole phone with this new stock rom... Is there a "full" release of the build or only an update??
Can't you just hard reset and then download the new update? I am considering doing that.

Ya, but instead of going back to 2.1, I want to ONLY load 2.2 (*IF* there is an OFFICIAL RUU/stock rom that is froyo)

Re: Slow messaging with new update

after the update the screen calibration was a little off, had to redo that. Other than that i havent noticed any slowdowns, love that the keyboard doesnt have to be closed to send the message

WTF MAN! Picture a guy talking to 2 girls he wants to get with....yea that just happened.

Any word on a update to fix this crap?

I dont want to do a hard reset. I have particular places in games on this phone that cant be saved that I don't care to work my way back up to...
