evo restarting over and over by itself??????

So i was send ing a text and my keyboard got all laggy and then the phone decided to shut itself down and now it just continues to cycle on off on off over and over......,i pulled the battery and stopped the cycle of on and offs but the entire phone is just a mess......,LAG CENTRAL......i dont get it.......its about there words behind now as i type this message.........an ideas out there? The last thing i installed was astro bluetooth moduale from the market, but that was over three hours ago,

try pulling the battery, ive had it happen a few times

try uninstalling the last app then try to reinstall it. I have seen some strange things from apps before. It is always best to see what changed then try to address that. The last app or apps installed is usually a good place to start. I have had problems with clocks from the market turning off the 3g radio then won't let you turn it back on without a reboot. Also if you are running a custom rom check there to see if anyone else is reporting similar problem's. If not post there to maybe someone did have the problem but hasn't posted about it.

are you overclocking? that can cause some instability as well.

I wenrt back and uninstalled astro bluetooth moduale and it seemed to help along with a battery pull.........if it persists what do you think my chances of best buy swapping it out are? I have 3 more days before my 30 are up...,

Everyone I have heard having this issue seems to have installed a wierd app from the market....that causes the phones to loop like this. I actually went to a Sprint store where the phone was doing this...I remove any app I saw that I knew was weird...did a reset of the phone...no more loops or reboots.

No need to take it back...when stuff like this happens...the last resort is take it back...try a hard reset of the phone before taking it back too...

Have you tried a factory reset? I don't think your issue is hardware related but it could be an app that is not loading properly causing the phone to reboot.
It could also be a corrupted file or even the FS on the SD card.

If you turned off "Always-on Mobile Data", turn it back on. Problem should be solved.
