Can EVO use Verizon towers?

This question may have been asked before. If it has I apologize.

I get horrible signal at work with my phone, however the verizon blackberry's get great signal.

Also they will soon be putting in a Verizon booster in the building.

Does anyone know if we can do anything to utilize those towers?

i would think: settings>wireless networks>mobile networks>roaming - set to automatic. no way to FORCE roaming though.

FYI.,this method works great but it uses all your anytime minutes. Because although your phone doesn't show roaming symbol. System still knows you are. So no free mobile to mobile. You still get nights and weekends tho

Not to mention Sprint reserves the right to cancel your account if you use more than 300 megabytes of roaming or more than half of your phone calls are roaming. Have they done this to anyone yet? Not that I've heard of, but they do mention it to people, and it's in their contract.

don't know about sprint/evo, but voice/ATT 3 of my friends, after relocating to this project had ATT dropping them because most of the calls for them are raoming... im in 87544.


sprint previously just terminated my contract w/o ET fee due to no covarage when i was in the boonies

I had an Aircard terminated for excessive roaming with Sprint. And no amount of threats to cancel my other 4 lines would stop them from shutting it off
