ClockworkMod Recovery Upgrade issue

I just upgraded to the latest Clockwork Recovery program and now when I go to backup the rom I get the phone with the red exclamation triangle. I haven't performed step two of root but I was just about to hence why I was backing up my rom. I tried downgrading to the last 1.X.X version and it didn't work either.

Okay, I just completed the final step in rooting and now Recovery mode is working.

oh yeah by the way you have to be rooted to use the ROM Manager

I was rooted, for some reason it stopped working. I was using OMJ's rom for a week with no problem. After updating the program though it stopped working. No problems now though.
