Does anyone know if the EVO works on Cricket??

i have been looking around to see if i can buy one of these devices unlocked to configure it for cricket, anyone know??

I am used to having to search thread forums alot when I had to teach myself on how to jailbreak/unlock my iPhone 3gs but DAMN... I cannot believe how secretive/stingy the scumbags out there are that keep the Cricket/Metro flashing procedure hidden just so they can extort guys like you and me for a couple of $...

I was searching for 4 days straight on how to get the Evo flashed and working on MetroPCS and every thread would have some A-hole posting "Oh it can be done... IF you pay me $50 and send me your phone to flash it" to which I would say... Ummm that's not what I was asking idiot. I wanted instructions so I could do it myself

hey man you're so right! thanks a ton!

anyways i went to look at the post and it's exactly what i needed, it's very similar to a tutorial i had taken before to flash my HTC TP2 to cricket, in fact it seems too simple, do you know if anyone has used that exact method successfully to get it to work??
