add a number without calling first...
 

Maybe this has been covered already, I searched and could not find nething. I look up numbers for businesses thru the search button 99% of the time and sometimes I dont want to call the number I look up till later. When I click on the number in my google results page it opens the phone dialer but im not seeing an option to just add the number as a contact. If I dial the number by hand from within the dialer i see the option to add the number..... maybe I am just missing something here. FYI, im coming from a palm pre and simply L O V E my new HTC EVO! Thanks for the help.

You can just press Save to People if you type in the number. Haven't figured out a way to save from Maps yet.

From Maps is simple. I did a Voice search for "Macy's San Francisco" and this came up:

The I clicked on the word Macy's on the screen, and this comes up":

Scroll down on that page, and you will see "Add as a Contact":

Yeah I think most people never scrolled down. I learned that cuz I saw more options down there.

The scroll bars certainly are small enough. Hopefully we'll figure out how to mod them like on WM.

By the way, I don't seem to be able to find this forum through Tapatalk, and would like to try it. What's the trick?

thanks for the help. I was trying to use the google search results to save to a contact.... maps seems the best way to go. Thank you.

In Tapatalk, just search PPC. On my phone it comes up with 3 choices. PPCGeeks is the last one.
