I registered my I/O phone at Sprint.com,I saw there are 4200+ devices listed,the service date was from 6/17/10 to 7/10/10,please see the screen shots.

Mine still works as well. I heard that there was around 6000 phones handed out in Google IO event so looks like only 1700 of them activated under personal accounts according to attached snapshots above. Not good for sprint.

I don't see it that way. I'm sure most people were under contract, most to other carriers. I wouldn't expect most people to pay an ETF and all that. Clearly a huge number were sold on Ebay and Craigslist. Like mine, they will get activated in due time, but I'm content enough for now to have the 2-line lifestyle.

May be Google will pay for the service on all IO phones for a few months for us,that would be great,is it possible?
