Syncing Outlook Contacts not working

I can not get the HTC Sync program to work, period.
That seems to be a major issue for me as I use outlook daily.

I have had the EVO now for 2 days, I think I might switch back to the TP2
Getting very discouraged.

Re: Syncing Outlook Contacts not working

the sync to outlook is an epic fail on the android. i was a big outlook user and finally had to break down and just use google. if you use outlook calendar watch out because your dates will be off. if you have more then 1 number or address for a contact in outlook the the sync will screw that up also. its been broke since the hero came out.

I will probably return the EVO then, I have no desire to change to Google.
I have SO much imbedded in Outlook it would take forever to reconfigure it.

Oh well, it was nice owning the EVO for the 48 hours that I had it.

Re: Syncing Outlook Contacts not working

when i 1st installed htc sync it asked to disable my antivirus program and i skipped that. I kept getting that 0/0, got frustrated, and uninstalled. Reinstalled it and temp disabled my mcafee for 15mins to do the install and now it works fine.

I had them all shut off, will give it one more reinstall and try it out.

Are you putting the EVO on HTC Sync or HARD DRIVE ?
