task manager?

Where is the task manager on this thing? i have 38mb free... out of the supposedly 512mb? sorry noob when it comes to android

Ya I got apollo task manager and it works great. didnt know it didnt have a task manager built in..

lol no there is an actual task manager because atk can actually screw up your phone

how android works is it keeps the memory open you need to have open and keeps the rest reserved for apps you use alot. its the same thing that win7 does, memory allocation. people say killing apps saves power. that depends because if you constantly open the same program back up you are using more processor power

For some of what you said is true to the point, except with todays Task Managers for Android 2.1, they only allow you to "kill" the running programs that are above the security shell. (i.e. MP3 Store, Sprint Navigation etc...)

They do not close the resources that the system requires to have running. Which is wonderful!
