Re: EVO Exchange/Imap4/Pop Email Syncing Schedule Issue

I am not sure what the problem is but I would have to guess that it is a misconfiguration issue or a third party app (i.e. task killer) that is causing these issues. I say that because I do not have any problems getting emails on multiple accounts with the stock mail app (in the latest Fresh ROM).

Account 1:
Type: Push (Exchange 2007)
Settings: Peak (00:00 - 23:59) As items arive

Account 2:
Type: Pull (POP)
Settings: Poll every 10 minutes

Account 3:
Type: Pull (IMAP)
Seetings: Poll every 10 minutes

All of my accounts alert me of a new email as they should. Often, my EVO will show a new message the same time, and sometimes earlier, than my desktop PC with regard to my Exchange account.

Re: EVO Exchange/Imap4/Pop Email Syncing Schedule Issue

Maybe the Exchange issues are Exch 2003 specific? - seems like the only ones having problems are using Exch 2003. I have an Exchange 2003 server and the mail delivery is definitely not what it was with my TP2. Mail may or may not show up instantly on my Evo. Messages read on my Evo do not show as read in OL all the time and (not sure if this is supposed to work or not) sub folders only refresh if accessed.

I am finally migrating to Exchange 2010 thursday. Hoping to see some improvments.

Now, if I can figure out how to mark all as read and delete multiple emails, I will be happy.

I'm having the opposite issue.. I'm using IMAP... when I delete on the phone.. I have it set to not delete.. but it deletes on my server/desktop anyhow.

I'm sure it's some setting I have wrong.

Ideas?
