Hard to say since you cant see anything. That'd be nice if they had an auto rooter... but its not too hard to do

Re: How to Root Your Evo

Guys I was an intense super rom flasher on WinMo, but this seems over my head. When I get my phone on the tenth will someone help me out? Like walk me through it on the phone? And what's the recovery thing do? Allow setting changes like registry values?

It does seem bad I had no experience prior to the Hero coming from winmo. If you just follow the steps and utilize the forum you'll be fine. once you root it everything gets much easier from there and it makes so much more sense to you once you do it.

You'll be fine trust me!!!

I installed Ubunto on my laptop just for Android (well actually I like it better than Windows now), I had a hell of a time installing adb for linux, but once I got it working, the root process looks very easy.

Re: How to Root Your Evo

Is anyones rooted Evo acting a littel funky! mines freezing up a tad. I rooted, flashed 2.2, then flashed flipz's stock rooted rom back. I did data and davlik cache wipes too. Any ideas?

Edit: It seems to have a little trouble loading the Sense home screen sometimes. I get that loading animation and have to wait... Hopefully a reboot will help I loaded alot of apps and all my data back on at once
