$7 EVO via Best Buy (after iPhone trade in)

A friend of mine just brought me the best deal I've seen so far.

He is selling his iPhone 3GS back to BB for $192.00, getting a new 2yr contract with Sprint so he's nabbing the EVO for $7 (before taxes). Not too shabby.

This news is spreading around our office rapidly - I think we've got a few others seriously thinking about leaving Apple for the EVO. (= Badass).

Obviously, contract timing and ETFs are part of the consideration - I was just amazed at the prices that BB offers for used phones. I can turn in my TP2 to them for $114 (in gift cards) without the battery (so I can use as spare for EVO).

Anyone else trading in?

Actually I can top that one, I sold my TP2 for $240 cash on CL and getting the EVO at BBY for $199.95. Profit of about $30.00

you can sell a 3GS on craigslist for $400 easy, then they'd be paying YOU to have an Evo!

Re: $7 EVO via Best Buy (after iPhone trade in)

yeah $100 at wal mart with a 2 year.

the third party price for iPhones is always high, I sold my 3G in perfect condition and had someone willing to give me cash money $375, but opted for a new HD2 trade instead.

after the 4G comes out in a week, the 3GS price will drop, but you will be able to sell it for over $200 easy.
