Re: A little Nervous about my Purchase

you can add it to your current line any time but you have to pay the $10 a month add-on fee

Re: A little Nervous about my Purchase

so what happens if u try to activate your evo online... is there going to be a prompt letting you know about the $10 fee? is it even possible to activate it yourself like that? that'd be sweet if they only charge it when selling through retail channels.

Re: A little Nervous about my Purchase

It shouldn't matter weather or not it has the trial account attached to it...when you call up Sprint just tell them you purchased the phone from a person that was at the Google I/O conference...and they should be able to change the ESN to your account, then add the $10 fee. The only problem I forsee is you trying to activate it on your account before June 4th, Sprint may not have stuff set up "Live" yet for the Evo 4G, example ($10 fee on there CS system)...so until them you may be out of luck...otherwise you should be good to go.

Best bet is to call them up and see if it possible to activate it on your account before the 4th...the worst they could say is "No".

Re: A little Nervous about my Purchase

I have read in other forums that some have been able to activate on their own number via phone call to Sprint (no luck online) and that a few have been told they have to wait until the 4th.

Re: A little Nervous about my Purchase

I was told to wait till the 4th by three different reps. Called a different CS number, and they said they'd do it now, but I have to contact another group to get the demo account canceled first. Still working on that.

At this point you cannot do it online though.
