That thread is a general faq about rooting for people who may be getting and EVO and are new to Android. This thread is about a claim that the phone has actually been rooted. Not quite the same thing dear.

BTW..im not a dude.

If a mod has a problem with the thread.. they will take corrective action. Not necessary for you to worry about it.
